FISHING

The warm tropical waters surrounding the island are home to some of the best game fish on Earth. Among the well honored fighters lurking offshore are white and blue marlin, yellowfin and bluefin tuna, barracuda, king fish, wahoo, bonito, dolphin and one of the world's best game fish – the bonefish. There's great fishing during the winter months but the best time to go fishing in The Bahamas is between April and September.
